A short (and shaky) video tour of our new apartment. Wow, we have a lot of junk. Sorry the video is Blair-Witch style and the audio is at times incomprehensible, but the point is just to appreciate how much stuff was crammed into our shipping container! (No hurricane/tropical storm damage, by the way...)

We'll send a lovely postcard from beautiful historic (and flooded) Deerfield, Massachusetts to whomever comes closest to guessing in the comments how many plastic tubbies we have. Most were shown in the video, if only briefly, though there are a few more out-of-view in the closets. I actually have no idea how many there are, but we'll find out as we unpack. Hint: More than 10. Less than 1000.

I say, 64. That is only counting the plastic tubbies, mind you. Don't try to count the carboard containers also - that would be cheating and I am very competitive, you know. ;)
ReplyDeleteAnd by the way, in all kindness, you are so screwed. Cause I see lots of boxes of stuff,but not enough furniture, drawers, and closets in which to unpack them into. Fortunately, you have many pretty colors of tubbies, so you can just keep them piled up in the corners and store stuff in them, right?
Okay, that wasn't kind. All kidding aside, it looks like a nice place and I really think you will like it once you get the mess cleared away.

ReplyDelete73. Miss you guys! Hope you are staying dry and enjoying the new digs. We started the first day rituals today, and now we get four days off! You know you miss that. Of course the Ministry of Ed. may be/may have already be implementing some changes to the curriculum and not notifying us we found out in our meetings today. You know you REALLY miss that!
